16:00 DESIGNERS TALK: Rewriting Menswear from Istanbul
Fashion Film Festival Istanbul hosts a talk on contemporary menswear led by GQ Türkiye Editor-in-Chief Alara Kap. Turkish designers Selen Akyuz, Emre Erdemoglu, and Niyazi Erdogan unpack their approaches to silhouette, tailoring codes, material innovation, and brand storytelling, tracing how local culture informs their menswear collections. The session examines how designers shape identity on screen, offering concrete insight for creatives across fashion, film, and media.
17:00 World Premiere with Tuba Unsal: “Resonance”
Fashion Film Festival Istanbul presents the world premiere of Resonance, a short film by Emir Mavitan that explores the choreography of listening and the fashionable language of high-fidelity sound. The film features Von Schweikert as a sonic protagonist alongside Tuba Unsal. Following the screening, actor and cultural polymath Unsal moderates a focused conversation with Mavitan and audiophile Emir Ulusoy on performance for sound, image-driven acoustics, and the craft of translating audiophile precision to screen.
